At MyFaithVillage, we want every member to feel confident about their subscription. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments work for our paid plans and add-on services.
1. Subscription Plans Overview
MyFaithVillage offers three subscription tiers:
- SERVE (Free) — No charge. One basic listing. No refund applicable.
- CONNECT ($29/month or $290/year) — Enhanced features, up to 10 listings, booking capabilities.
- AMPLIFY ($49/month or $490/year) — Full-featured plan with unlimited listings, branded provider website, custom domain, analytics, and AI credits.
2. Free Trial & Cancellation
We do not currently offer a free trial for paid plans. However:
- The SERVE plan is permanently free and provides a full starting experience.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
- There are no long-term contracts or commitments.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Cancellation
- You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time.
- Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the SERVE (free) tier.
- Your listings are not deleted upon downgrade — excess listings beyond the SERVE limit are deactivated (set to draft) but preserved.
Refunds
- Within 7 days of your first payment: If you're a new subscriber and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. No questions asked.
- After 7 days: Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable, as you have access to premium features for the full billing period.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount), contact us and we will issue a correction or refund within 5 business days.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Cancellation
- Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
- Premium features remain active until the end of the 12-month billing period.
- Your subscription will not auto-renew after cancellation.
Refunds
- Within 14 days of purchase: Full refund upon request, no questions asked.
- 15–90 days: Pro-rated refund based on the number of unused full months remaining.
- After 90 days: No refund available, but you may cancel to prevent renewal. Your features remain active until the end of the annual period.
5. Add-Ons & One-Time Purchases
Add-on products (Featured Spotlight, Promoted Search, AI credit packs, etc.):
- Before activation: Full refund if the add-on has not been applied to a listing or consumed.
- After activation: Generally non-refundable once applied. If the add-on did not function as described, contact us for a case-by-case review.
- AI credit packs: Non-refundable once credits have been consumed. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase.
6. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the pro-rated difference for the remainder of your billing period.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days at the higher tier — you retain those features until the period ends.
7. Promotional & Discount Pricing
- Promotional pricing (e.g., founding member discounts, promo codes like FOUNDING50) applies to the initial billing period as specified.
- Refunds for promotional purchases are calculated based on the amount actually paid, not the full retail price.
- Promotional pricing cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email hello@myfaithvillage.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email, the plan or product name, and the reason for your request
- We will respond within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
9. Payment Processing
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- We accept all major credit and debit cards.
- We do not store your full card number — all payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
- Refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
10. Chargebacks & Disputes
We kindly ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing concerns quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
11. Exceptions
We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly. If you are experiencing financial hardship, medical emergency, or other exceptional circumstances, please reach out to us. We will do our best to accommodate your situation with compassion and flexibility.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
